If you’re running on EOS® (Entrepreneurial Operating System) you know how to use Rocks for your Quarterly meetings. We’re big fans of EOS® and are frequently asked for ideas on what marketing Rocks would look like.
This Rock is ready for you to copy, paste, and adjust as needed.
We hope this saves you time and keeps you focused on your marketing foundations.
Special note: This Rock is generously shared by Grace Miller, a SaaS marketer that knows how to leverage content to build brand followers. If you want your team to level up their content, check out her programs >>
Rock: Build a content marketing strategy
When it’s done right, content marketing can increase your sales and transform customers into brand advocates. But teams just getting started can often find themselves overwhelmed and wasting resources on content that doesn’t perform.
The key to creating content that grows your bottom line? Build a sharp, focused content strategy so you can focus your resources on creating content that helps you meet goals and attain your company vision.
V – Vision: Let your vision guide your strategy so you don’t try to do too much too soon. If you want to build a community, social media is a great channel for you. But if you want to educate your audience, a blog might be a better fit for your purpose.
S – Specific: Choose 1-3 types of content you can publish consistently that will contribute to your overall marketing goals.
M – Measurable: Choose metrics that will contribute to your overall marketing goals. Beware vanity metrics that don’t mean anything to your larger organization.
A – Attainable: Start small before launching a huge piece of content that needs a full PR push to make a splash. Simple content can be just as powerful as expensive projects when done well.
R – Realistic: Don’t try to do too much at the start. Once you have your process down and some data you can reference, then you can increase the amount of content you produce without sacrificing quality.
T – Timely: Decide how frequently you want to publish and promote your content. Keep in mind how long it will take your team to go from ideation to publication.
